About the Event
EPIC is a comedic improvised concert by groundbreaking emo band Every Place I Cry (or EPIC) who is back for one night only. After a dramatic falling out, everyone’s favorite four-lead-singer band is putting the past behind them to give their fans the concert of a lifetime. Broken hearts welcome. Don’t come if you can’t handle truth, we don’t need you. In fact, no one come, we don’t care, whatever. But come I guess.

Marko DeSantis is Los Angeles, CA based music professional best known as the lead guitarist/co-founder of modern rock legends Sugarcult. Sugarcult released three records which spawned hit singles such as; “Bouncing Off the Walls”, “Pretty Girl”, and “Memory” and achieved platinum-level success since launching out of Santa Barbara, CA in 2001. Sugarcult headlined their own tours; performed on the main stages of festivals (including 3 Warped Tours); were main support on tours with Green Day, Blink 182, and countless others. Marko also plays in an ongoing experimental side-project called Bad Astronaut (w/ Lagwagon frontman Joey Cape) In his pre-Sugarcult years, Marko played in bands such as The Ataris, Nerf Herder, Popsicko, Swingin Utters, etc.
As a special events DJ (& MC) Marko has played night clubs, festivals, art openings, product launches & private parties worldwide. From L.A., Vegas, Chicago & NYC all the way to London, Sydney, Moscow & Tokyo. Corporate clients who have enlisted Marko’s DJ services include: Nike, Playboy, Virgin, Sonos, Vans, GitHub, Blurb, Hard Rock Hotel, Victor Private Jets, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Sailor Jerry, Hurley, Teva, Emonite, Corey Helford Gallery, etc.
