Couch Dog
We are Couch Dog! We make music for dancing, crying, and kissing.
Couch Dog is comprised of Max Ferrer (vocals + guitar), Tasha Lee (bass), Pablo Acosta (lead guitar), Liam Reece (drums).
Originally from San Luis Obispo California, we have recently relocated to Los Angeles. Over our 4+ years as a band we have cultivated a strong local community and gained notoriety across California by playing shows all along the coast. As we grow, we have garnered a nation-wide community of listeners and community members. From performing a sold-out Fremont Theater show to 900+ people, to opening for larger acts like Sad Park/The Frights and Dayglow, to consistently playing DIY house shows, and playing the Shabang Music Festival for 3 years in a row now, we have done it all.
Some of our other escapades include creating an interactive hotline for our fans to share their stories, a phone booth/photo booth that we bring to our shows, a horror/slasher themed music video, create puppets of ourselves to promote new material, and staging boxing matches in the pit during our sets. We like to have fun (and cut good records as well as throw memorable shows along the way).
