In the early 90s, he launched the now legendary publication,The Bomb Hip-Hop Magazine, and in 1995, Paul transformed the magazineinto a record label. The company was named “one of the fifteenindependent labels that matter,” according to Rolling Stone, and thelabel’s Return of the DJ series was ranked by Spin Magazine as #25 intheir “The 90 Greatest Albums of the 90’s” (Sept. 1999 issue),receiving a higher rating than Gold & Platinum albums by Lauryn Hill,Pearl Jam, Metallica, Green Day, and Fatboy Slim. Mailhouse was wearing a Detroit Red Wings hockey sweater, and Reeves (an avid hockey fan and a keen player of the sport) asked if Mailhouse needed a goalie. As the two men formed a friendship, they began jamming together, and were joined by Gregg Miller as the original lead guitarist and singer in 1992. DOYLE RULESRADIOACTIVE CHICKENHEAD142 Pacific Coast Hwy,Hermosa Beach, CA 9025421+ Only On Friday the 13th in October of 1307, King Philip IV of France ordered the arrest of the Knights Templar and had them tortured and killed; and in July of 2013, two musicians named Ryan Vuckovich (singer) and Nicholas Hrboka (guitarist) contemplated how they would kill and torture audiences with the best Misfits tribute ever assembled. Their first plan of attack was to be one of the few tributes that would not only play Glen Danzig era Misfits, but would also play a heavy assortment of Michael Graves Misfits—an amazing and sadly underappreciated period in the bands history. Next, a name needed to be chosen; one that would properly represent the sonic assault. Boka, a fan of Adam Sandler films, shouted out loud the band’s war-cry: “Doyle Rules”—a play off of “O’Doyle Rules” from Billy Madison. The name was perfect. When any punk fan heard the scream Doyle Rules they knew that they would be experiencing a tribute that would play songs from an era that included Danzig and Graves songs— the Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein era of the Misfits.

With eleven consistent solo albums to his name, and now 5/1/20 releasing his 12th solo album “Second Time Around”. Tramp has never steered off his path and is charging forward with confidence, no desire to look back. Tramp says, “It really just meant that I knew who I wanted to be and sound like when I recorded my first solo album twenty-two years ago. I just wanted to be me, and I am damn proud I stuck to my guns. White Lion was a chapter and a journey I was on; it was a one-way ticket with no return.” The hair trend of the decade has since faded, but the music lives on, stronger than ever. To tame the big sound of the 80s hair metal genre, Tramp is for the first time touring as a Power Duo, with his trusted guitar slinger friend Marcus Nand, adding the sound of the Electric Guitar to his already well proven acoustic solo set. Now in 2020 this Power Duo, will play an exclusive vintage White Lion set around the world, given back to the fans, who have supported and followed Tramp since the days off long hair. He states, “It’s both challenging and a joy for me. Still, the truth is that people don’t know that most of these big rock songs started out as folk music in a Brooklyn, NY basement.” Which is the true secret why they still work on stage, even in the simplest version. Born and bred in Copenhagen, Denmark, brought his sound here and “forty-three years later, it’s still what I do on the endless highway. I am me twenty-four hours a day, I don’t have to put make up on or become a character. I am the same when I shop in Walmart, as when I am on stage playing, singing and telling stories, inviting the audience with me on my journey through life. Kawano and Lau, both first generation Asian Americans, seamlessly fuse together punk, alternative and hip hop to create a fresh sound that reaches across the generational divide. Joker’s Hand released their self-titled EP in March, 2020. Their first single “Gold Rush” landed them #1 on KROQ’s Locals Only for nine weeks. While the pandemic put a wrinkle in the bands touring plans, they went back into the studio with producer Steve Ornest and turned out their second EP “All-American Rage”. “War Profiteer”, an upbeat track with a dark message about those who profit from war, spent several weeks on the charts. As the world reopened its stages, Joker’s Hand toured nationally and shared the stage with artists such as Cage the Elephant, Jane’s Addiction, The Aquadolls, Sitting on Stacey, Jakob Nowell, and many others. Their showcase performance at SXSW in 2022 was a turning point, as the band was signed to Wiretap Records by Rob Castellon.
