Since TBS’ inception in 2001, the band has shared the stage with a number of well known artists, such as Willie Nelson, Slightly Stoopid and Pennywise, and has performed at some of the biggest music festivals in the U.S., including Vans Warped Tour, Cali Vibes and BeachLife. Off stage, TBS has co-written and produced work with songwriter Tim Myers (formerly of OneRepublic), producer Damon Elliott (Bone Thugs-n-Harmony), and most recently, jack-of-all-trades, DENM. While the band has always been known for an extensive touring schedule, the pandemic that hit in early 2020 offered up a unique opportunity for a change of pace and a shift of focus. TBS utilized the unforeseen downtime to write and record new music, purchase and open a storefront in San Pedro, CA, and ultimately, re-emerge on the scene completely rejuvenated and independent. The band hit the ground running in 2022, wasting no time releasing multiple singles, and playing shows in numerous states across the country. In 2005-2006 they Supported Avenged Sevenfold in America and Europe on the City Of Evil Tour.2006 was a big year for the band as they were signed to RCA/BMG Records. They released their first major label album “In The Mouth Of The Young”, which was produced by Page Hamilton of Helmet. They played The Download Festival and where on “The Family Values Tour” with Korn, Stone Sour, Flyleaf and Deftones. They headlined their own UK tour as well.2007 saw them Leave RCA for Ares Records, release “Songs For The Underdog” album and tour with Unwritten Law. They had headlining UK Tour with The Knives that year as well. In 2009 they released “Bullets and Octane ” a full length album and Toured the U.K. with Gunfire 76 (Wednesday 13’s project).In 2016 they played Lost Highway motorcycle show and concert with Social Distortion, Foghat and Eagles Of Death Metal as well as releasing a new song “Burning At Both Wicks”. In 2017 back at it full time with a solid line up, released songs and videos for “Bad Mother Fucker” and “Waking Up Dead”, headlined a very successful tour of the U.K and Sweden. They finished the “Waking Up Dead” album and played a string of successful shows in Hollywood, Orange County and Las Vegas. In 2018 they are looking to release the album “Waking Up Dead”. In the early 90s, he launched the now legendary publication, The Bomb Hip-Hop Magazine, and in 1995, Paul transformed the magazine into a record label. The company was named “one of the fifteen independent labels that matter,” according to Rolling Stone, and the label’s Return of the DJ series was ranked by Spin Magazine as #25 in their “The 90 Greatest Albums of the 90’s” (Sept. 1999 issue), receiving a higher rating than Gold & Platinum albums by Lauryn Hill, Pearl Jam, Metallica, Green Day, and Fatboy Slim. Dave Paul has appeared on the front cover of Billboard magazine and is featured in the motion picture Scratch. Mr. Paul has DJ’ed throughout the US, toured Europe, released over 100 projects on his record label and currently produces theme parties.
