The culmination of several years of toil, BEDEKER’s self-titled album (released 01/10/25) captures the authentic sound of “adults in a band,” an in-joke that is nonetheless accurate. Self-produced, the band was fortunate enough to enlist a couple of legends along the way: Darrell Thorp (Beck, Deep Sea Diver, Foo Fighters) mixed the album, and mastering was handled by Joe LaPorta (David Bowie, Leon Bridges, Vampire Weekend) at Sterling Sound. Jayson Belt (vocals/guitar) cut his teeth with the Red West (Atlantic Records) before branching out on a solo career. Adam Ferry (drums) was a founding member of Plankeye, and was part of the OC Supertones, Fielding, and Two Guns. Rounding out the ensemble are Eric Churchill (bass), Eric Exley (guitar) and Steve Judy (keys).

Paula Fong is an Americana singer-songwriter from Los Angeles with a sound that can vary from lilting trad folk, to upbeat country toe tappers, to soulful grit. During her youth, she spent many summers in the French countryside, and was deeply influenced by the local Breton folk music. She continued to explore singing various genres from Classical to Chinese opera and eventually joined an Americana church band where the main musical focus was acoustic country and folk – the kind of music that is both spiritual and also something people can relate to in everyday life.

Max Anthony Muscato (Born April 10th, 1990) is an American singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer. He was born in Germantown, Maryland and raised in Buffalo, NY. He attended the University at Buffalo, majoring in medicine. Soon after graduation he decided not to pursue a career in medicine, and follow his true passion in music.

Right from the start he was exposed to music by his father, who was a professional percussionist in Maryland. Max first picked up the guitar when he was 13 years old, starting his career that was heavily influenced in classic rock and blues. As he progressed he moved towards an acoustic rock and an alternative rock approach. Going up with modest roots he found music was his outlet. After playing for several years, he rediscovered his love for classical music and compositions, ultimately leading him to blend all styles together into his own signature voice.

At the age of 16 he formed his first band with several friends from high school, “Cookies & Beer.” They took off in Buffalo as a premier cover band. Several years passed before Max realized his true calling as an original artist. At 22, Max teamed up with his college roommate Charles “Chuck” Porreca (Bassist), while still having his father Marc Muscato behind the set. The last member to join Max was his life long friend, James Chudy (Pianist). Max Muscato & Outer Harbor was formed, and the next several years he gained popularity in Buffalo, playing various festivals such as Music is Art, Blues Festivals etc.

From the time he began playing Max was writing original music, whether it was singer-songwriting or classical compositions, always recording at his house. In 2016, he began working on his first CD at GCR recording and his home studio. 2017 plans to be the release of his first album Nostalgia, with 5 albums to be followed.
