Rhett Miller: Rhett Miller is the front man and main songwriter of the hard-charging rock ‘n’ roll quartet the Old 97’s, as well as an accomplished solo artist. In addition to his nine studio albums with the 97’s (most recently The Grand Theatre Volume One and The Grand Theatre Vol. 2 in 2011), he has released four solo albums; 1989’s Mythologies, 2002’s The Instigator, 2006’s The Believer, and 2009’s Rhett Miller. Miller is set to release his first live covers album, The Interpreter Live at Largo, on November 22, 2011 on his own recently established label Maximum Sunshine Records. In addition to his music being featured in countless films and television shows, Rhett has appeared in an episode of the NBC hit series 30 Rock and the Old 97’s were prominently featured in the Vince Vaughn/Jennifer Aniston romantic comedy, The Break Up. Primarily known for his songwriting and awe-inspiring live performances, Rhett is also a critically-acclaimed author whose work has appeared in several books and such well-known periodicals as Rolling Stone, McSweeney’s, and The Atlantic.
Jonny and The Jones: "Texas born guitar singer, Jonny Perdue grew up heavily rooted in blues & rock n' roll. In his most recent musical endeavor, Jonny & The Jones, Jonny fuses hard-driving blues with indie overtones. Growing up influenced by the likes of Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Sam Cooke & Ray Charles, Jonny carved out his sound for the 21st century blues and rock n' roll. After opening shows for acts like Robert Randolph and The Los Lonley Boys, Jonny's live performance is ramping up and his debut EP 'Javelina' is to be released next summer."
Clayton Joseph Scot: Clayton Joseph Scott was born on the west side of Los Angeles in Venice, California. He began his music career at the age of two when his life long musician father bought him a guitar and the “Born in the USA” vinyl. Clayton set up an American flag and turned a garbage can upside down as a drum proclaiming he wanted to be Bruce Springsteen when he grew up. Since that time Clayton’s musical journe y has taken him around the world playing music across Europe, Asia, and the United States. During a trip to India in 2008 Clayton began writing and performing his own material. When he returned to the United States, indie label Sweet Mercy Records (www.sweetmercyrecords.com) based in Ashland Oregon discovered Clayton while playing a show at a wine bar. The label established a working relationship with Clayton developing five of his songs they featured on his debut maxi-single “Heavy Rest” released through Sweet Mercy in early 2010. An opportunity to work on a motion picture soundtrack in early 2010 with Serafini Films brought Clayton to Los Angeles. The transition back to his native city proved fertile ground for the young singer songwriter as he began to compose a plethora of new material and built a fan base in Los Angeles. Clayton’s most current compositions have earned fans up and down the west coast playing in various cities across California and Oregon. Currently Clayton is finishing his next album at Konscious Studios in Santa Monica.
